This authentic Provençal farmhouse built in stone around 1800 is located on the heights of Beaumes de Venise, a few kilometers from Mont Ventoux, in an exceptional location. It offers 210 m2 of living space on two levels. Enjoy its beautiful pool, absolute tranquility and breathtaking views. The space The property enjoys exceptional views as it is located on a hill overlooking the entire plain. It enjoys great tranquility because it is only accessible by a private road with no exit. Below the house, olive trees and vines, then the view of the plain to the Alpilles massif, 60 kilometers away. Behind the house, the wild hill where the scrub smells of thyme and rosemary. No neighbors, no one opposite, you're really at home. The village of Beaumes-de-Venise is a 4-minute drive, 15-20-minute walk. The house opens south onto a terrace that hosts a comfortable garden furniture and a dining table located in the shade of a large pine tree. The view is spectacular. On the east side of the house, we have installed another dining area close to the kitchen, shaded by an arbor covered with beautiful wisteria. The large plancha, right next door, allows you to grill vegetables and meats. The pool is located in the heart of nature. On one side, sun loungers allow you to laze in the sun while on the other, a wooden deck hosts rattan armchairs in the shade of a hackberry tree. This is a delightful place to have a drink or read by the pool without exposing yourself to the strong summer sun. On the first floor are the 4 double bedrooms, all air-conditioned. They are organized into two groups of 2 bedrooms, accessible by two separate staircases. Two of the bedrooms each have their own small private shower room with toilet. The other two bedrooms share a large bathroom with double sink, bathtub and walk-in shower. The toilets are separated. On the ground floor are the living rooms, opening onto the garden and the view: the dining room adjoining the kitchen, a TV lounge, a large living room-library and a separate office. This allows the occupants to meet for friendly moments as well as to isolate themselves quietly if necessary. The kitchen is well equipped, you will find a nice choice of dishes and glasses as well as all the necessary equipment. Sheets and all linens are provided, including bath and pool towels. The end of stay cleaning is included in the price. The house is only rented for six weeks a year, we live there the rest of the year. It therefore contains many beautiful objects, antique furniture, paintings, books, personal creations and decorative objects that we provide to make your stay unforgettable. Guest access The Peyrière in Beaumes-de-Venise is ideally located next to the picturesque Dentelles de Montmirail, close to Mont Ventoux and in the heart of the Wine Route. You are 30 minutes from Avignon and its sumptuous Palais des Papes, you can taste the fruits and vegetables of the sun, visit the markets of Provence, stroll through the antique market of Isle sur la Sorgue, take the time to live on the terraces of cafés and restaurants in the shade of plane trees, attend the chorégies d'Orange in early July, go to the Avignon festival in July, pedal along many circuits, go down the Gardon to the Pont du Gard by canoe-kayak, and visit the charming villages of the Alpilles and the Luberon. The beaches of the Mediterranean are only a 90-minute drive away. Other things to note The four bedrooms of the house have double beds of 160.
