Guest access The twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with narrow streets winding between pastel-colored cottages, lie on the Rame Peninsula just 5 miles from Plymouth. There are car parks and free parking at both ends of the village. The property is accessible by car to drop bags off. There is a key box for unassisted entry- however, you do have the choice of host-assisted arrival. We will contact you prior to arrival to make sure you can easily find the cottage. Other things to note In the centre of the charming twin coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand there are two local sandy beaches to enjoy and Garretts is just a stone’s throw away from a choice of pubs and restaurants if you don't fancy cooking one evening. Venture towards the Rame Head Heritage Coast very close to the coastal path for walking and cycling with some of the most spectacular views imaginable and stop off at the huge sweep of Whitsand Bay beach one sunny afternoon. Head to Cremyll just a hop along the coast to take a tour of the 16th century stately home of Mount Edgecumbe House and Folly, descending onto Barn Pool Beach for views of Drakes Island. A regular pedestrian ferry service runs from Cremyll to the city center of Plymouth where you can look forward to visiting a choice of attractions, including the National Marine Aquarium full of exotic sea creatures or the exciting exhibitions at the Devonport Naval Heritage. Wander the grounds of the National Trust owned Antony, the historic Queen Anne Estate. See the wonderful Polperro Model Village, or travel further inland to the Golitha Falls nature reserve for an exhilarating hike through the countryside.
