The property is very close to Biddenden with a good food pub and a Michelin star restaurant. Tenterden, with its tree-lined High Street offers some lovely shops, pavement cafes and restaurants. It is also the boarding point for the Kent & East Sussex Railway, next stop Northiam and onto Bodiam Castle, where you can wander around the ancient ruins. The Sussex coastline is full of drama starting with the seven miles of golden sands at Camber continuing with shingle beaches and dramatic cliffs.
