Heron's Hideaway is newly updated and right in the center of the desirable North Cape gulf front community of Barrier Dunes. Our home is located a short 2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the USA. The community features 2 swimming pools, tennis courts/pickle ball and playground. The space Located next to one of the swimming pools and the tennis courts, our home has a spacious living room with new 65” TV featuring cable and built in Roku, new furniture with a queen size sofa sleeper. New quartz counter tops and stainless steel appliances greet you in the kitchen. Just off the kitchen is a laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer and laundry supplies. Next to the laundry closet is a large pantry and appliance storage. Unlike many of the Barrier Dunes units, Heron’s Hideaway provides you all the storage space you need for your groceries and supplies. Open the 6’ sliding glass door and step out to your private deck with gate, new polywood furniture and umbrella for relaxing after a day of fun and sun. A gas grill is provided if you enjoy staying home and cooking your meals. Upstairs you will find the 2 bedrooms each with a TV and private bathroom. The master bedroom features a King sized bed and 65” TV, newly updated master bathroom with double sink vanity, walk in closet and private deck with bar height polywood furniture, beautiful views and gulf breezes. The second bedroom features a queen bed, and 2 bunks, en-suite bathroom and private deck with a view of one of Barrier Dunes many ponds. Guest access The entire home is yours for your stay. Our home is next to one of the 2 swimming pools, and the boardwalk to the beach is only a short stroll away! Barrier Dunes is located at the north end of Cape San Blas and minutes from the St. Joseph State Park, a 2000 acre park that offers 3 miles of paved bike paths and 8 miles of beaches. A great way to enjoy Mother Nature at her best. Cape San Blas offers a variety of activities from kayaking and biking to fishing, horseback riding, and much more! You can rent bikes, kayaks, and lots more from Scallop Cove, right there on the cape. Groceries and other beach items, may be purchased right on the Cape at either the Cape Trading Post or Scallop Cove. Don’t forget to check out the ice cream and donut shops for a tasty treat! Other things to note - Bon Fires are allowed on the beach. Remember to pick up the remains afterwards. - It is recommended to pickup groceries, wood and goodies prior to arrival due to the distance from major shopping options. - No parties - No smoking - No pets Steps to the beautiful beach and the Gulf of Mexico, this location is sure to delight.
