The space The living room - with its 11 feet to the ceiling - is cool in summer, yet bright enough for comfort all the year round due to its open surroundings. A splendid view to the newly renovated St. Francis Church behind the plane trees – and not much else - offers you full privacy and a particular sense of space. Windows are double-glazed and isolated, but even with the balcony doors open, the noise from this residential area is quite modest. A Sony Bravia 50-inch flatscreen offers you dozens of international channels and 1 GB/s access to the Internet for your favourite streaming with Netflix and Amazon open for guests. You can connect your music to a portable, wireless loudspeaker, also by Sony. The balcony - has room for two comfortable armchairs and a table made in durable materials that tolerate all weather. The moderate traffic in the street and the surrounding big plane trees make the balcony an enjoyable retreat in the long Hungarian summer stretching from April until October. Direct sunshine only arrives in the mid-afternoon, but in our experience you will appreciate the shady hours during summer. An assortment of small trees and flowers – apart from looking lovely - provide windshield and protect against mosquitos. The bedroom - also faces the church square, the sound-proof windows and a blind offers you silence and darkness if needed.
