Beautiful Maine Lakefront Cottage

Enjoy a classic Maine lakefront cottage with beautiful sandy beach and 300' waterfront. You'll enjoy loons on Upper Range Pond (a medium-sized lake), swimming off our private dock & float and using our 2 kayaks and canoe. Have dinner on the screened-in porch while watching gorgeous sunsets or make s'mores in the fire pit on the beach. Wonderfully quiet, private location only 40 minutes from Portland. We're committed to sustainability with eco-friendly cleaning products and lighting. The space -- Fully equipped with linens and cookware as this is a family retreat that we love to share. -- In addition to three bedrooms, there is a private loft with queen bed that's accessed through one of the bunk bedrooms. It's suitable for agile people because one needs to climb a sturdy ladder to get up to it. There is also a roll-away bed (for a child) available upon request. -- For heat, there’s a Rinnai propane heater as well as a beautiful stone fireplace. -- Fast internet with a desk in the living room. -- Private parking on our property. Outdoor propane grill is great for cookouts. Guest access -- Lock box on the front door. Other things to note -- Mid-June through Labor Day, we rent Saturday to Saturday. Check in at 3 pm and check out at 10 am. -- We supply 4 gallons of drinking water via a water cooler with additional water available nearby. The tap water is fine to bathe with, cook with (boiled) and wash dishes with. It comes from a dug well next to the cottage, but to be extra safe we ask guests not to drink water from the faucets. -- Fast internet with a desk in the living room. -- Private parking on our property. Outdoor propane grill is great for cookouts. -- We have two kayaks and a two-person canoe. Swim/use watercraft at your own risk and please wear a life jacket on kayaks/canoe. Life jackets available for kids and adults. -- Personal watercraft (jet skis) not allowed on Upper Range Pond. -- Please drive slowly down the road. The camp road is in good shape and driving slowly helps keep it that way. -- No smoking indoors or outdoors. -- A few stone steps lead from cottage to beach.
