Mountain Palace - Queen En-Suite with Balcony/AC

This hidden gem is nestled in the awe-inspiring mountainous northern range of the beautiful Caribbean paradise of Trinidad and Tobago. It's a welcoming visit place where nature and serenity is in harmony. As you awake to the chirping of birds and step on to the patio you will experience a sunrise of a lifetime over our magnificent hills. Here you can enjoy a sumptuous local breakfast, sip your favorite beverage and enjoy the hummingbirds feeding or walk across and look at the Kois in their pond The space This property offers two wrap around patios on the first and second level floors, both overlooking the lush green Maracas Valley. There's sitting accommodation for at least 20 persons at any one time. You can soak in the morning sun while having your breakfast, sipping your favorite beverage and reading the morning papers or chit chatting with you companion. You can even take in the mid afternoon breeze coming over the mountains and bird watch as the amazing South American parrots migrate across the sky in pairs while enjoying a snack and a hot coffee or tea. At night you can pop a bottle of wine with your dinner while you enjoy the moon coming over the mountain or on darker nights there's an opportunity to stargaze. If you are adventurous you can try your hand at the grill on the BBQ Console that overlooks the Fish pond and waterfall. Enjoy your favorite music on the surround sound speakers installed at points around the patio. This first floor is a shared space that houses the living and dining areas, as well as the Kitchen, bar, foyer, den and a bathroom. The main dining table sits 6 persons, with 4 persons accommodated at the bar high stools and a further 4 persons at the breakfast high table. The main registration is in the foyer area that also converts to a Workstation for guests who wants to combine work with leisure. If you'd prefer some more quite time with relaxing music, there's the Den area that sits another 5 persons. While you relax you can pull out a book from our private collection and read, either fiction or non fiction. This area can also be used as a workspace if you prefer to complete some work that can't wait until you get back to the office. There are also musical instruments (keyboards, guitar & drums) if you prefer to dabble in a little music. The kitchen is a shared space complete with Refrigerator, Electric Stove, Microwave, Coffee maker and all other kitchen appliances, accessories and cutlery. You can ask the host to try your hand at cooking lunch or dinner or request they be prepared for you at the costs listed in the kitchen's menu. The hosts can also order out lunch or dinner from the surrounding restaurants at a small service fee. There's also a full bathroom facility and a laundry room with washer and dryer on the first floor. The second floor sleeps 8 persons in four private bed rooms, each accommodating 2 persons. There are two Queen bedrooms have full double beds, wardrobes and dressing facilities and share a common full bathroom. The Queen En-Suite with Balcony/AC includes a Queen Bed, Chest of Drawers, a private balcony with mountain view where you can enjoy the exhilarating view of the moon lit or star lit valley when you awake or before you go to sleep at night and its own private washroom. These 2 Bedrooms & Queen Suite has access to a lobby/TV Room/Kitchenette where you can also access books from our private collection if you prefer to enjoy a good read before you turn in. There's also a common sitting area with a beverage station, mini refrigerator and TV where you can enjoy a snack or hot cocoa or chocolate beverage before you turn in for the night. The master bedroom has been tagged as the Presidential Suite and has a king size bed, a small table and sofa, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table, a mini refrigerator and TV. It also opens up into it's own en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, stand up shower, his & hers face basins, dressing table & private closet. This room also opens up with private access unto the second floor patio. This suite is ideal for honeymooners, the patio affords a private space for both breakfast and dinner. The patio also has a two seater swing where you both can pass the night away. Guest access This property is in a gated community with entry manned by guards 24 hours. The listed price for the property includes transport from and back to the airport. The property also has 2 vehicles that are available for rent by guests at the property's listed price. Alternately guests can rent their on vehicle at the airport to be able to move around the neighborhood or hire a taxi. If you have your own vehicle, there are 2 parking spots available to use on the entrance to the property. Taxis are available on the Maracas Royal Rd., at the entrance to Maracas Gardens and will take you to the Curepe junction. From there you can get either a bus, maxi taxi or taxi that will take you to your desired location. The hosts can provide further details as may be required. For the Queen En-Suite with Balcony/AC - guests have access to the shared space on the first & second floors outlined in the property description above. This includes the wrap around patio which most guest use to have their breakfast in the morning or dinner at night. Also included is the Den & foyer area as well as the dining area. Breakfast is normally served buffet style in the kitchen. For nature seekers there is a list of spectacular rivers and waterfall all located in the pristine rain forests of the Northern Range and within close reach, under 10km from our home. In our former Capital St Joseph, 4km away is the St Joseph RC Cathedral and the town park. St. Michael's RC Church 5.0km away and the Mount St Benedict's Monastery 8.5km away are other sites. 1. Hike to Maracas Water Fall, visit to Yerrette House & visit to Port of Spain down town and the Western Peninsula. Stop at Fry Dry facility for Lunch. 6. Hike to Mount Tabor & the St Benedict's Monastery & visit to 85’ Hanuman Maurti, Temple in the Sea, closing off with visit to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. 7. Guided sightseeing tour to the central City of Chaguanas, Couva/ Pt Lisas Industrial Estate, Penal, Debe, Siparia and a trip to the Quinam or Los Iros southern beaches. 8. Shopping excursions to either malls in the east (Trincity Mall, Piarco Mall), north (Grand Bazaar, Valpark) or POS west (Long Circular Mall, the falls at West moorings). 9.
