Whether you have come for Commissioning Week or Boat Show, the aptly named Gatehouse is a centrally located townhome steps away from Gate One, City Dock Waterfront, and all the attractions that Historic Downtown Annapolis has to offer. Settle into this spacious, well-appointed townhome in the heart of Downtown Annapolis. This detached townhome, professionally cleaned and beautifully maintained, is the perfect lodging for USNA families, wedding parties, and weekend explorers. Enjoy your morning coffee in the quiet courtyard and, when the sun’s passed the yardarm, your evening brightener on the third-floor deck, which boasts a view of the Naval Academy Chapel! If sipping a whiskey while lounging on a deep leather sofa or a Churchill armchair is more your speed, the main deck living space is the place to relax. Should you desire to escape the hustle and bustle of Randall St-tuck in and watch a movie, play a video game on the PS4, or read a book in the topside living room. Should the inspiration to cook strike, the kitchen boasts new appliances, chef's quality knife set, and cooking ware. In addition, groceries are just a click away from both Instacart and Whole Foods Delivery through the Amazon app! Eventually, when the time comes to turn in, the bedrooms have taken care of your comfort needs. Down pillows, cozy comforters/quilts, and soft bathroom linens make decompressing from a long day of exploring Annapolis easy. The master bedroom has a queen bed, an ensuite master bathroom, and a room-length closet for all your organization needs. The forward guest bedroom has a queen bed, a brass crib, and a separate bathroom with a combination tub/shower. *Commissioning Week, Boat Show, Navy Football, and other high-demand weekends are subject to demand pricing and are non-negotiable. Private inquiries are required to ensure clarity of house rules and additional fees (i.e., strict occupancy limit and pet fees).* License: STR21-144994 Access to the home is by a keypad with a code unique to each guest. Due to a change in city regulations, unlimited parking passes for the residential street can no longer be provided to guests. We provide one 24-hour pass for stays under three nights and two passes for four nights or more. However, you may pay to park on the street for up to 3 hours. In addition, the city does provide free parking from 6 PM Friday to 6 AM Monday at the Calvert Street Garage (19 St. Johns Lane). You can also park in the following garages/lots: -South Street Lot (South Street, off Church Circle; $15/day; 10-minute walk to house) -Gotts Court Parking Garage (25 Northwest Street; $15/day; 13-minute walk to house). -CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION, OPENING SUMMER 2023-Hillman Garage (150 Gorman Ave, entrances from Main Street or Duke of Gloucester; $20/day; 5-minute walk) *The free Annapolis Circulator bus stops at all the city garages/lots and City Dock (closest stop to the house) and can be used to get to/from the garages. Please view the Annapolis Parking and Access Annapolis websites for further details. Please feel free to contact us regarding any other questions or concerns that you may have. We look forward to hosting you in the beautiful historic town of Annapolis! I am always available by phone and will address any questions or concerns via call/text/email. All personal contact information will be provided 7 days prior to your stay. A friendly residential neighborhood always buzzing with the comings and goings of locals, tourists, and especially the Midshipmen of the USNA. One of the charms of Annapolis is that it is an easily walkable city. Everything you should need or want is only a short stroll away to any number of destinations. Should you find yourself in search of a water front dining experience at one of the waterfront restaurants in Eastport, just across the harbor, a water taxi is a fun way to travel should you wish to forgo the stroll across the Spa Creak bridge. Parking in town is provided for by either garages or on residential streets. Residential on-street parking is limited to two hours. Your first cup of coffee is on the house as both coffee filters, Sugar In The Raw packets, and Illy Classico Medium Roast Ground coffee a provided! Linens and complimentary hotel-style toiletries have been provided. The home is not technically "child friendly" because of the stairs and third-floor deck, but we provide a crib and top-of-stairs gates for our smaller guests. Due to the stairs and on-street parking, we are not handicap accessible.
