The space Step straight onto wide sandy shores from this peaceful beachfront home with uninterrupted sea views. Dunes View is a direct beachfront home designed to make the most of its uninterrupted sea views. The open-plan living space upstairs features large picture windows and opens onto a spacious balcony—perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or evening drink as the tides and skies change throughout the day. The bright, modern living area features two large, comfortable sofas with additional relaxed seating, creating a sociable space for families and groups to unwind together. Fast WiFi and TV are included, along with a Wii for a bit of family fun after a day on the beach. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything needed for group stays, with open-plan design ensuring you can cook, dine and chat while still enjoying the views. A dining table comfortably seats eight guests. All four bedrooms are located on the ground floor, making it ideal for families. Two rooms feature king-size beds, with additional rooms suited to children or flexible group use (bunks and small twin singles). Fresh linens and towels are provided to make your stay easy and comfortable. Two bathrooms (one bath with shower, one separate shower room) provide convenience for shared stays. A utility room with washer, dryer and direct garden access is perfect for dealing with sandy shoes, clothes and toes after a day outside. Beach equipment is also available for guest use. The private garden and patio lead directly to your own beach access, just a few steps through the dunes onto Greatstone’s wide, sandy shoreline. Known for its open space and peaceful feel, it’s a safe, quiet stretch of beach—ideal for younger children, with plenty of room for sandcastles, shell collecting and long seaside walks, even during the busier summer months. The fully enclosed garden is private and sheltered from any wind, with attractive planting and seating areas. A barbecue is available for easy outdoor meals on warmer days. The 6 seat hot tub is located in the rear garden and is very private, perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors, whether in the sunshine or under the stars. (£60 per stay, added after booking on request. Plpease note children under 12 are not permitted to use the hot tub.) Child-friendly equipment including a travel cot, high chair and stair gates is available for families. Private parking is available for up to three cars. Around 2 hours from London by car, making it ideal for weekend breaks and longer coastal stays. Located close to Dungeness and coastal walking routes, with easy access to local attractions including the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. Flexible check-in and check-out often available to help you make the most of your time by the sea (by request). Guest access The whole house, gardens and dune area are available for your use (just not the garage!) Other things to note With the recent move towards working from home, we have invested in high speed fibre broadband which is included in the cost of your stay. There is a stash of beach chairs, wind breakers, all terrain buggy, boogie boards, buckets and spades etc for you to use. There is a coal BBQ on the balcony, perfect for flipping your steaks while sipping on a glass of wine, admiring the ever-changing view. There are plenty of baby friendly items (changing mat, high chair, stair gates, plastic crockery etc) to welcome the youngest of kids, and a range of toys for all ages to enjoy too. The Hot Tub is only suitable for children 12 years and over. Should we not be able to offer this facility due to maintenance or safety concerns outside our control, all hot tub fees will be refunded, however, no deduction to the nightly rate will be offered.
