The stylish open-plan living and dining space, with a natural wood ceiling and Scandinavian log burner, gives this a classic modern Alpine chalet-style feel. The kitchen is well-equipped for “home” cooking and entertaining. It includes an electric ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 1 is the spacious master bedroom with a king-size double bed (160 x 200 cm). Bedroom 2 has two single beds (90 x 200 cm). What you should know... Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park (paid) next to Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just an 11-minute scenic mountain train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes from 21:30 until 02:40 Am. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.
