Description
Built in the 1800's, 'Priory Cottage' is situated right on doorstep of the magnificent ruins of the Abbey. This unique period property is a few minutes walk into the centre of the quaint village of Greyabbey which hosts cafes, numerous antique shops, the wedding venue 'Orange Tree house' and is only a few minutes walk to the Strangford Lough Shoreline. Twin room available. The space Cosy 2 bed cottage built in 1800s. Please note this is my primary home, so my belongings will be in the property during your stay but we will leave you space for hanging clothes. This cottage also has low doorways and a slanted ceiling in the bedrooms so please ‘mind yer head’! The property is not child-proofed, we have no cots/highchairs or any other facilities for babies/children. Help yourself to tea/coffee! (Please note all other food items in my property are out of bounds unless I have explicitly told you I have left them for your use, or unless you message to ask my permission. Thank you!) Guests can park directly outside the property on the kerb/road (space for two cars max). *Soft furnishings/decor may differ to that of photos. Guest access Full access to open plan living/dining area, bedroom, full kitchen, bathroom and private back garden. *please note wood burning stove in fireplace is not to be used* (small sunroom will be unavailable/locked). Other things to note Please mind your head - there are low light hangings and slanted ceilings in the bedrooms, there are steps down into some rooms so it is not wheelchair friendly. Stairs are slightly steeper than modern day builds so please mind your step going up/down. Please leave your worries and shoes at the door and have a fabulous stay!
