Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people. The space The property has two bedrooms. The Whale Room with a king size bed and the Pineapple Room with two single beds that can be joined together into a super king size bed. Additional 2 guests can sleep on a double sofa bed in a comfy living room. The main bathroom offers a large walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet. A spacious kitchen and dining room will lead you to a panoramic terrace where you can dine, lounge and relax in the shade of our 130 year old chestnut tree whilst enjoying the views. Other things to note Please be advised that according to Portuguese law n.º 23/2007, all guests will have to provide ID card/passport details prior to check-in. Starting in January 2025 all guests from the age of 13 are required to pay a Municipal Tourist tax of 2 euros per night up to a maximum of 3 nights (up to 6 euros per person) Registration Details 3292/AL
