Lake View Cottage The space With an all-wood interior and two levels of comfort and convenience, this lakeside home is the perfect place to spread out with friends and family! You'll love the living room's comfy furniture and the beautifully burnished floors that extend throughout the home. Summer guests will appreciate the private gas grill for those fun hot-weather barbecues. The full kitchen is equipped with everything the group chef will need to prepare delightful meals, and you can enjoy your creations at the kitchen table with seating for everyone or outside on the furnished screened-in porch for a pest-free al-fresco meal. Guests will have access to a private beach steps away from the front of the home, and there is a free public boat launch nearby as well. THINGS TO KNOW The wood-burning stove is not for guest use. Guest access You'll enter through the front door using a keypad code. Enter your access code on the keypad - a green light will flash when it's accepted. Then rotate the deadbolt under the keypad away from the door frame and open the door. When you leave, press the Schlage button on the keypad and rotate the deadbolt toward the door frame. Please note the door does not lock automatically, so you'll need to lock it manually as you depart. If the light flashes red, wait 5 seconds for the lock to reset and try again. After three incorrect entries in a row, the lock will pause for 30 seconds before accepting another attempt. Other things to note You have beach and water access with a canoe and kayaks available by the lake. Grills and fire pits are available seasonally from late spring through early fall (firewood is not supplied - you can find it at local roadside stands, and you should check Maine's state fire danger report before starting any fire). The home has a television, though no cable service is offered. WiFi is available, and weather can occasionally affect both TV and cellular service - fog may cause interruptions, and strong winds can lead to power outages in the area.
