The cottage makes an ideal base for exploring Anglesey, and some of its most beautiful beaches are within a 20-minute drive. Menai Bridge is ¾ mile away with shops, restaurants, pubs and a supermarket. Beaumaris, 3 miles, has a host of attractions including a 13th-century castle, golf, sailing and sea fishing. There are many superb walking opportunities on the island, and the Anglesey Coastal Path passes the cottage. The Snowdonia National Park with its numerous outdoor pursuits is a short drive away. For gardening enthusiasts there is the lovely Hidden Garden at Plas Cadnant close by, and Crug Farm and the wonderful Bodnant Gardens are a worthwhile trip. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
