Our mini-chalet "La cachette" will welcome you in a quiet environment, in a mountain village, on the edge of the forest. Ideal for a couple but can accommodate up to 4 people by accepting proximity, the spaces are intimate and comfortable. Its private outdoor HOT TUB will invite you to relax all year round. The fully equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare good meals. Enjoy the calm and take a moment to listen to nature! The space La Cachette offers: A cozy bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm). A sitting area with a sofa bed (140 x 190 cm). The sofa bed is comfortable, the size of the living space makes it ideal for 2 children or teens. A fully equipped kitchen: oven, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, raclette grill... The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washing machine. Our mini chalet "La Cachette" is aptly named! The accommodation is 35 m² in total, the spaces are small but furnished with the idea of not losing an inch. The room is just over 7 m², The kitchen-living room measures 19 m². (The size of the accommodation does not allow for a crib to be added.) You won't get tired of the view of the Grand Ballon from the terrace which is equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers and a wood-burning barbecue. Located in a sheltered area, you can enjoy the HOT TUB all year round, summer and winter. The hideaway is at the end of the village and on the edge of the forest. However, you will have neighbors nearby. PLEASE NOTE: SNOW TIRES ARE REQUIRED IN WINTER. WHAT TO DO AT THE HIDEOUT? Rest... of course... Relax... of course! HIKING: several walking trails in the village and hundreds of trails nearby. You will discover a variety of landscapes between lakes and mountains. Against a green backdrop, each summit is an invitation to contemplation. PEDAL: bikes with or without electricity, will allow you to discover our sumptuous massifs. SKI: Markstein, Grand Ballon, La Bresse resorts, many cross-country ski slopes 15 minutes away. FLOAT: the mountain lakes, Lake Kruth, Lake Gérardmer, the municipal swimming pool. FLY: paragliding school 20 minutes from the chalet. CLIMBING: the tree park and fresh air will make your experience unforgettable. Guest access A vehicle is necessary to come to the hideout. Goldbach - Altenbach is a small village at an altitude of 680 m, buses are rare. The access road is well cleared of snow in winter, but you are not immune to being surprised by snow in the early morning. Snow tires are therefore required from November 1 to March 15.
