Everything You Need Within Minutes The Pier Bowl area (a 2-minute walk) offers excellent restaurants, a great coffee shop, ice cream, convenience stores, and casual treats—almost everything you might need during your stay. Easy Transportation From the pier area, you can also hop on the free San Clemente seasonal trolley, which runs throughout town. It’s an easy, fun way to reach Avenida Del Mar’s shops and restaurants, the outlet mall, and other local attractions—no car required. Other things to note Home-Like Environment Please remember you’re staying in a home, not a hotel. We ask that you treat the space with respect. If anything arises during your stay, our team will respond promptly, though no one lives on-site 24/7. Quiet, Soundproofed Building The condo is located in a fully soundproofed, six-unit building that we own and operate. Because we manage all units, the guest experience is predictable, quiet, and consistent. If you’re traveling with others, we can often arrange adjacent units. Peaceful Environment & Quiet Hours To ensure a great experience for everyone, quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Even with soundproofing, we value a calm, respectful atmosphere. Stairs & Access Access details vary slightly by unit, but most Capo units require minimal stairs and are well-suited for guests seeking easier mobility access. (Unit-specific descriptions will specify exact stair counts.) Heating, Cooling & Water Each condo features a mini-split AC system in the bedroom that effectively cools the entire space, plus fans throughout for airflow. Softened water provides a spa-like shower experience. Murphy Bed & Space Layout In addition to the main bedroom, the living area includes a premium king-size Murphy bed that is easy to operate and extremely comfortable. When open, it occupies a portion of the living room floor space. Maximum Occupancy The condo accommodates up to 4 guests. After 3 guests, an additional $25 per person per night applies. This ensures comfort and prevents overcrowding. Pet Policy (Updated) Up to three pets may be allowed with prior approval. We welcome quiet, well-trained dogs under 60 lbs. A $20/night per pet fee applies. Guests also have access to our on-site dog run, and San Clemente is a very pet-friendly community. Parking & Transportation Each unit includes one dedicated driveway parking space. The surrounding neighborhood is extremely walkable, and during summer months, the free hop-on, hop-off trolley makes it easy to explore without a car. Other Units Available We also offer two-bedroom and three-bedroom condos on Avenida Del Mar in the heart of downtown. You can view all available properties by clicking our host profile. Please review before booking. A full Guest Rental Agreement will be sent after booking. If any term of that agreement is unacceptable, you may notify us within 24 hours after it is sent and cancel without any cancellation penalty imposed by Staying With Friends. Any separate Airbnb fees/refund rules remain subject to Airbnb. Booking guest: Must be at least 25 years old and stay at the property for the reservation. Occupancy: Everyone staying overnight must be registered. Additional overnight guests may be added before staying for $25/person/night, provided the unit's maximum occupancy is not exceeded. Visitors: Daytime visitors are permitted up to one visitor per registered guest at one time, unless we approve a different arrangement in writing. No parties, events, commercial gatherings, or disruptive gatherings. Quiet hours: 10 PM–8 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors at all times. Smoking/vaping: Prohibited anywhere on the property unless a specific designated area is expressly identified. Guest-caused smoking remediation is a $250 minimum, or the higher documented remediation cost if applicable. Pets: Must be disclosed and approved in advance except for service/assistance animals protected by applicable law or Airbnb policy. Damage/safety: Please promptly report damage, spills, leaks, maintenance problems, accidents, or anything that appears unsafe, damaged, missing, loose, or malfunctioning. Do not disable or tamper with smoke/CO alarms, lighting, railings, fire equipment, locks, spa safety devices, or other safety systems. Hot tubs, where provided: Shower/rinse before use, follow the provided chlorine/sanitation instructions, secure the cover whenever the tub is not in use, and never leave children unattended in or around the tub. Guest-caused contamination requiring a complete drain/refill has a $500 minimum remediation charge, or the higher documented actual cost. Children/elevated areas: Children must be supervised around hot tubs, fire pits, balconies, decks, stairs, and other elevated areas. Do not place chairs, step stools, furniture, toys, coolers, or other climbable objects near balcony/deck railings. Amenities/equipment: Bikes, beach gear, fitness equipment, Murphy beds/sofabeds, grills/fire pits, baby gear, kitchen equipment, garage doors, outdoor showers, gym access, and other amenities must be used only as intended and according to instructions. Stop using and notify us if anything appears damaged or unsafe. Plumbing: Flush only toilet paper and human waste. Even wipes labeled “flushable” must go in the trash. Never pour grease/oil down drains; use the provided grease cups. Never reach into or attempt to clear a jammed garbage disposal—turn it off and contact us. Ice safety: Never use glassware to scoop ice. If glass breaks in or near an ice bin/dispenser, stop using the ice and contact us immediately. Fire safety: At arrival, please identify the primary exits and locations of the fire extinguisher(s) and fire blanket(s). Never leave operating grills, fire pits, cooking appliances, or heaters unattended. Third-party amenities: Access we provide to facilities such as San Clemente Gym is optional and subject to the facility's own rules, safety requirements, and waivers. Parking: Parking arrangements and limits are property-specific and must be followed as shown in the listing/arrival instructions. Checkout: Checkout is 11:00 AM. We do not require ordinary cleaning chores to avoid a fee. Removing personal food, loading used dishes, and placing bagged trash in the designated bins are appreciated but completely optional. Maximum stay: Reservations under this agreement are limited to 28 consecutive nights. Currency: Refund obligations are calculated in U.S. dollars. We are not responsible for exchange-rate changes, foreign transaction fees, or currency-conversion differences imposed by Airbnb, banks, or card issuers. Important: The guest is responsible for communicating applicable house rules and safety information to everyone in the guest party, including visitors.
