“CA SIEMU,” which means “we are here,” is a Sicilian expression that can literally explain almost everything in two words. It's a small, 3-story building nestled in the beauty of Ragusa Ibla. It is an ancient building built 300 years ago with its typical stone vault, a private mini-house all for you with a double bedroom, bathroom and equipped kitchen-living room. The adjacent area includes ample public parking. As hosts, we always try to be available for our guests The space The property is equipped with very quiet air conditioning, a washing machine, a Smart TV with Disney+ streaming, Web-pocket WiFi that allows you to have internet even when you are away from home, and a turntable with a small collection of vinyl records. Kitchen-living room equipped with everything you need for simple dishes or an aperitif on the balcony. You will always find a set of shower linens and a courtesy kit. For stays of 5 days or more, a linen change will be provided, and cleaning is also available upon request. Breakfast is not provided, but coffee pods, bottles of water, and a variety of teas are offered by the property. Guest access The adjacent area is called "Quartiere San Paolo" – the first neighborhood, the "entrance" to Ragusa Ibla, which is located before the ZTL and includes a large public parking lot that is lit at night and also has spaces for charging electric cars. The maestso Duomo di San Giorgio is about a ten-minute walk away. Just here begins the Vallata di Santa Domenica - a green area of particular naturalistic, historical and archaeological interest, along the path of the trazzera that connects Ragusa Superiore with Ragusa Ibla. The first bar, excellent trattoria-pizzeria and restaurant with classic Sicilian cuisine are less than a 5-minute walk away. Walking through the small streets, you can admire some of the oldest buildings in Ragusa Ibla, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, such as Palazzo Cosentini and Palazzo Arezzo, until you reach the majestic Cathedral of San Giorgio (built in the 18th century) with its dome overlooking the piazza.
