El Origen Rural House - La Majada

La Majada is one of the 4 houses of EL ORIGEN. Located just 70 km from Villavicencio; in the Eastern Plains (Meta). Away from the urban center and busy roads; near streams, forest galleries, curious looks of gossipy cows, bird songs, calls of monkeys jumping in the morichales and other natural friends that are part of the savanna ecosystem; the nights have an intense darkness but without mosquitoes. The space A typical refuge of a shepherd and his cattle, this is the majada, our third rural house, very close to the corral and the sounds of the dawn of the plains; a refuge that takes us to the origin from the simple and rustic to get away from the comfort of the big cities and enter the essence of the eastern plains. With 30 square meters, high ceilings, hammock area, 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, large mesh and anjeo windows, kitchen, dining room and refrigerator. El Origen is equipped with a communal electrical connection point for charging cell phones and other equipment via solar energy, a pool water purifier and Wi-Fi. Guest access The best way to get around in our accommodation is on horseback, you can also walk if you want to enjoy the sound of the leaves rustling, the birds singing and the howling of the owls. If you prefer the comfort of your car, you have wide cobblestone paths. There is room for parking for you and your family or friends. Other things to note Here, electricity depends on the sun, water on a motor pump, Wi-Fi on there being no storm, and your cell phone on having a Claro operator. We are far from television and all the technological distractions that prevent us from enjoying nature and beautiful moments. Getting to the origin is quite an adventure of 26 kilometers on a rural road, but we assure you that its landscapes will make you stop more than once to take a photo and forget one or another hole; at the end of the journey you will stay in one of our rural houses that will take you to the ORIGIN. At El Origen, we have four rural houses with the comforts that the countryside in its nature can provide us, sharing common areas around the houses, far from what we are used to in the city to have a stay in balance with the earth.
