Description

My partner & I like to create the friendliest home, with the best dog, two of the coolest kids, in the funkiest suburb in Wellington. Stylish double bedroom, shared bathroom & lounge area, kitchen, with heaps of room. We love hosting people in our home. Our guests have been from all over the world: locals come to attend courses in the city, watch matches at the stadium, or layover between the airport and the ferry. There is usually plenty of parking on the street. 😎 The space Built in 1929, this place has a real character feel, with many original panelling and other wood features, including many of Hayden’s woodturning, some of which are for sale. The fireplace makes things roasty in winter, and nothing beats coming home to a warm cosy house. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the house, including the laundry, kitchen and lounge area. During your stay Abby & Hayden are great hosts, love helping people, and are very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Traveller (the dog) is also on hand to help with people who need to give him pats and attention. Hayden’s two boys (Age 13) are a real laugh and love having guests around too. Other things to note Hayden’s children are with us 50% of the time. They have their own rooms when they are here. They love interacting with guests! They are more likely to want to regale you with tales of their own travels than listen to anything anyone else has to say!
