Custom-built 1 bedroom vacation home using local hardwoods with king-sized & double beds. Special artistic features include a mosaic rain water shower, fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room & large deck. Spend a few nights or an extended stay while taking in the sounds of the ocean waves mixed with monkeys, birds and wildlife in the surrounding rain forests. The space Abracadabra is one of the few home rentals available on Bluff Beach- a truly magical place with 7 kilometers of pristine golden sand beach backed by untouched rainforests. It is a nature-lovers paradise filled with incredible wildlife...howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, sloths, caimans, leatherback turtles, parrots, and poison dart frogs are just a few of the animals that you may be fortunate enough to see up close during your stay. There are various beautiful jungle trails to hike and explore the surrounding nature. Our entire property is "off grid", meaning that all of our water comes from the rain and our electricity comes from the sun, so you can feel great about being a responsible and eco-friendly visitor. We also have the ability to access town electricity when necessary, which means no worries about charging devices at night or using multiple lights and fans, but if you have anything with a heating element like a hairdryer, curling iron or electric kettle, please let me know so I can adjust the settings as necessary. Because all of our water comes from rain catchment, we ask you to be aware of your water usage when washing dishes and showering and not leave water running unnecessarily. Bluff Beach is the perfect place to reconnect to nature, enjoy some exercise, fresh air and relaxation, or even work online with reliable wifi. It's easy to enjoy privacy with miles of walking and biking trails with secret swimming holes or be social at one of the cute restaurant/bars within walking distance.
