It's conveniently located on Isla Colon of Bocas del Toro, surrounded by sea on both sides. We are located a short walk from the town, so it's quieter. New to airbnb but with over 6 years of very happy travellers The space El Colectivo de Saigon has 4 studios and 2 lofts in a wooden building on pillings just over the sea of Saigon bay. The studios are equipped with a comfortable queen size bed, a private bathroom with hot shower, a kitchenette with a small fridge, cooker and oven, cookware and utensils, so you have everything needed to make yourself a nice meal. The balcony offers sea view and gorgeous sunsets, so you can kick back and relax, and watch all sorts of fish swim by. The studios are about 26sqm in size, the lofts are twice the size. Adjacent to the house with private studios and lofts is also a communal area, where you can hang out with others when you feel like socializing. There is also a bigger communal kitchen, available to all guests, and we sometimes have spontaneous communal dinners and other sorts of gatherings. There is a pool table and we just got a new addition - a ping pong table. Guest access All guests have access to the larger kitchen in the common space, soft drinks and beer for 1$, free pool table and ping pong table, big salon and garden to chill out. Laundry on site, free access to bicycles to get around, free parking, good WiFi. Espresso machine available all day long as well as filtered rain water. The house with studios and lofts is separated from the communal spaces so you can have all the privacy you need. During your stay The interaction with the guests depends on their own wishes, we are always here for you, but also want to respect your need for privacy and your own space. We are happy to help out with anything we can. Very often the guests end up staying longer beacuse they enjoy the sense of belonging that Colectivo offers. El Colectivo was created as a space that offers a refuge from the fast pace of life and dettachment amongst people due to stresses of every day life and lack of time to really get to know ourselves and others as human beings. We like to share experiences and skills and believe that we can all learn from one another as well as teach one another, and keep growing each and every day.
