The space You will wake up to the gentle sway of the water and step outside onto the rear balcony to take in the serene views of the surrounding fishing village. It is a picturesque spot to soak in the authentic maritime atmosphere, breathe in the fresh air, and start your day in complete tranquility. Moving inside, the boat seamlessly blends vintage elegance with modern comfort. You can relax in the beautifully designed vintage-style living room—featuring a large sofa, tables, a television with Netflix, and bluetooth speakers—or share a delightful meal together in the classic European-style dining area. Whenever you please, the well-equipped open kitchen is ready for you, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, and tableware. For a touch of leisure, a dedicated entertainment room awaits, offering a comfortable sofa and a mahjong set for endless enjoyment with your companions. After a fulfilling day on the water, you can completely wash away any fatigue in one of the 2 bathrooms, including a main bathroom beautifully equipped with a relaxing bathtub, shower, and toilet. Afterward, retreat to one of the 3 elegant bedrooms, where 1 king-size bed, 2 double beds, and 1 sofa bed are prepared to provide a peaceful and perfectly restorative space to rest and recharge. Other things to note Please read carefully all information below before booking. As this house is unique and requires special attention and specific rules, here are some FAQ regarding being on a boat. Q: Can the guest walk to the houseboat directly from the shore? A: No, the houseboat is moored in the middle of the harbour, you need to take sampan (water taxi) to get in and out of the harbour. Having said that, it is exactly one of the key experiences you have during the rental period. Q: What are the operating times of the sampan (water taxi) and how much is it? A: Sampan (water taxi) runs from 7am to midnight and cost $15-20 HKD per trip. You can simply dial the numbers in the info pack to arrange the pick up, so you need a sim card for making local call. However, if you plan on staying out late, it may not be suitable for you, as there is no guarantee a sampan is available for you at late night. Q: Is there sufficient water and power? A: Yes, we have 24 hours water and power. Water is drinkable after boiling. Please kindly turn off the electronic applicants after use and turn off all the lights and AC before you leave to avoid waste and over consumption. Q: Is there any Wifi ? A: Yes we have wifi on the houseboat. However, please understand that the network may not be as stable as your home, as we are using 4G sim card instead cable. Q: Bathroom? A: The boat has 2 fully equipped bathrooms with hot water (one is with bath tub). There are two 100% functional toilets, but please don't flush toilet paper, sanitary tissues, debris down the toilet.
