The lodge was designed for full enjoyment of outdoor spaces with multiple patios and decks to bring sweeping panoramic views throughout. For smaller groups and couples, the house is very cozy as all main amenities are on the upper level of the house and the lower level serves more as a den and can be closed off for comfort so the home does not feel too big. This allows for a great getaway for both small and large groups. A large TV equipped with Apple TV, Bluetooth speakers in the main room is perfect for movie nights…and Incredibly fast STARLINK internet makes this home a dream for remote workers, with an established workspace in a quiet corner of the large master bedroom. The great room and kitchen are part of an open floor plan. The lower level of the lodge has a den with entertainment options, as well as two bedrooms and a shared full bathroom to comfortably accommodate 10 guests. This is the perfect getaway to share with loved ones and friends, or to host a retreat! Other things to note Lodge is about 1 mile away from downtown Julian. Wineries, restaurants, breweries, and plenty of hiking paths are just steps outside your door. *Lodge has multiple stairs and staircases. *Starlink Internet - the lodge has incredibly fast and reliable Starlink internet, making it a remote workers dream* *Dog Friendly with CONDITIONS* Our home is dog friendly for well-behaved, hypoallergenic pups. We cannot allow any dogs that shed significantly due to allergies, and no cats at all. Please note, we only allow 1 dog per stay. YOU MUST disclose your intention of bringing your dog with relevant info about your dog (age/breed/disposition) to the host during the booking process. If your pet damages anything or has an accident in the house it is your responsibility to communicate this to the host. Any damages noted after the stay without prior communication will incur a $250 penalty on top of the cost to repair or replace the damaged items. *special events* We are happy to explore whether the property is a fit for an intimate (under 20 guests) wedding ceremony.
