Keep in Mind that we have a peaceful quiet guest cottage so it can also a good place for reading, reflecting, meditating writing and all manner of creative simi-isolation.. haha Other things to note ABOUT OUR FOOD At least half of our food is either from our farm or from the local market. Our farm is near organic – no herbicides or pesticides, some fertilizer is used. Local market foods are also near organic except for off-season crops, which we avoid. We have a lot of Indian and Fijian dishes, but are always experimenting, and can adjust menus within reason to cater to our guests. Everyone eats in the main house, and we try to all gather for dinner. Three meals are provided daily: breakfast,, lunch, and dinner. Plus tea coffee or a snack are always available. We live in a safe area. No thefts in 11 years here. THE DOWN SIDE - to be candid - the animals can get noisy and sometimes poop where we wish they wouldn't. We do what we can, but insects can be bothersome at times (our rooms are fully screened, so mosquitoes at night are not usually a problem, but we have an on-going battle with non-biting ants).
