Gardenia Room

A dear friend of mine playfully calls this “the presidential suite.” Nestled right by the entrance yet feeling like its own little retreat, Gardenia is our largest room at 40 sqm, with two beautiful views — the front opening to the entire garden, and the side gazing onto a quiet canal. Here, sunsets feel like they belong entirely to you, wrapped in the heady fragrances of flowers drifting in from all around. The space A place where life breathes. About 8 km from Sa Đéc downtown and 2 km from the flower village, Neverland rests quietly among gardens and narrow countryside roads. If you meet an oncoming vehicle trying to squeeze through, just share a smile — traffic here flows in its own gentle rhythm. The village morning call begins at 5am sharp — it never misses a single day (no worries, you can stay in bed — you’re on holiday). It’s the old radio speaker, a familiar sound from Vietnam in earlier decades, now mostly found in rural areas and perhaps one day gone altogether. And when that day comes, we might miss it and call it vintage. At 5pm, it returns like a soft bookmark in the day. When night settles in, frogs and crickets rise into their patient choir. Silence here is never empty — it carries life. The air moves freely. It holds sunlight on grass, wind through leaves, blooming flowers, and the honest trace of the animals — our unofficial receptionists. Dogs stretch in the shade. Cats wander without agenda. Chickens and ducks follow their own quiet logic. They have not read their job descriptions, and we have decided to forgive them. We have only five rooms — Gardenia, Tuberose, Jasmine, Magnolia, and Padma — filled with natural light and simple comfort. Bathrooms open to greenery. Mornings begin unhurried, perhaps with a bowl of hủ tiếu Sa Đéc or bánh tầm bì, served in the slow rhythm of the countryside. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are here, if needed. Four bicycles wait for wandering. The town is close enough for a short ride, yet far enough for the sky to feel wide at night. If the earth can laugh and burst into flowers, why shouldn’t we? Just breathe. Guest access You are welcome to use all shared areas of the property, including the garden and common spaces. Just make yourself at home. Other things to note If you’d like to enjoy lunch or dinner at Neverland, just let us know. We’ll send you our menu so you can choose your meal and confirm at least one day before arrival. We visit the local market early each morning and shop only once a day to keep everything fresh and seasonal. Without advance notice, our kitchen may already be closed for the day — and the only thing we can offer might honestly be instant noodles 😊
