Tullaleagan Guesthouse

The Tullaleagan Guesthouse, a unique Bed&Breakfast, is situated idyllically on the hills bordering the Lough Corrib. With it's breathtaking views Tullaleagan Guesthouse offers it's visitors a taste of the beautiful western countryside. The space The Guesthouse lies about 6.8 km away from the lakeside village, Oughterard, which is known as "The Gate to Connemara" Enjoy the village Oughterard with its pubs, restaurants and little shops. Lovely places to visit: Inchagoill, Aughnanure Castle, Brigit's Garden, Galway, The Quiet Man Bridge, Roundstone, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park Clifden... Guest access All the rooms are individually, tastefully decorated( 4 double rooms, 1 bed room for 3, 1 bed room for 4) comfortable, clean and cosy. The bedrooms are ensuite with tea and coffee making facilities. The Guest dinning/ sittingroom is a tastefully decorated room where guests can eat their breakfast in the morning or spend "time out" throughout the day. Breakfast includes a variety of breads, fresh fruits, a selection of cheeses, homemade marmelade/jam, yoghurt, cereals fresh orange juice, coffee and tea. In addition to this I offer "Traditonal Irish Breakfast" "Vegetarian Irish Beakfast" or, how about "Porridge with a shot of baileys?!! A dinner is possible on request. My meals are a mix between Irish and Swabian (my homeplace in Germany) specialities. Cooking is my passion! During your stay I would like to make your stay at Tullaleagan Guesthouse as relaxing and comfortable as possible.If you need some help, I am looking forward to help you, I speak English and German. Our 3 Donkeys Lady Bernadette, Black Boy and Sandy like visitors, too. Other things to note Very important: How you find the Guesthouse: Starting Point: Galway - N59 direction Clifden Moycullen - Oughterard. In Oughterard turn right at the Connemara Lake Hotel, you are in the Glann Road now. Follow the road, after 6.5 Km on your right a sign B&B Tullaleagan 300m, turn left. The Guesthouse is the second house on the right. The Navigation System is not always able to find the house.
