The lodge nestles in an evergreen forest. It gives a feeling of anticipation for fairies and other woodland creatures to welcome you. The forest gives complete privacy. It's a place where visitors can feel at one with nature. Bird parties visit and samango monkeys forage in the trees. The Log Cottage sleeps four guests. There are short walks along the mountain stream and you can see picturesque waterfalls The space The Log Cottage has two bedrooms which are on suite. One bedroom is upstairs. There is an outdoor shower. All quality linen and towels are provided. There is a braai lapa behind the Log Cottage for your sole use. We sell wood for the braai at R25 a bag and briquettes at R35 per bag. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave and gas stove with a gas oven. All crockery, pots and pans, as well as cutlery are supplied. There is an outdoor shower as well. Booking in time is 13:00 and booking out time is 10:00 It is optional to have the cottage serviced during your stay. If you want the service, Rebecca will come in after 10:00. She will make the beds, wash the dishes and clean. The cost is R50 per day payable on arrival in cash. Other things to note The base rate of R1020.00 covers 2 guests per night. Additional guests are charged for at a rate of R505.00 for adults and R250.00 per child 2 - 12 years per night.
