Sandhills House, is a family friendly, seaside, 3 bedroom, self catering holiday home with a spacious garden for children to play, ample parking, free wifi fresh eggs from our hens and a beautiful Rough Collie dog called Kobe! The space The house is located beside the family home, on a quiet country road on the heart of West Clare. The design of the house ensures that guests have ample privacy at all times but also the advantage of having the owners nearby should guests have a query or just want to call in for a chat or need someone for childminding. The house is a five minute walk from the two mile long sandy Doughmore Beach. It overlooks Trump International Golf Links, Doonbeg. It has three bedrooms, 2 on the first floor which are ensuite - double ensuite; double + single ensuite. The third bedroom is located on the ground floor adjacent to the main bathroom, ideally situated for elderly guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances and is stocked with the basic essentials, i.e. tea, coffee, sugar, etc. Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels & tea towels are supplied. Solar panels provide hot water. Free WiFi available. Flat screen TV with free to air channels in the living room. There is an enclosed landscaped garden and a fresh supply of herbs from the herb garden, right outside the kitchen door, for those who enjoy cooking. We have a lovely Rough Collie dog called Kobe who lives on the property - he is good-natured and has a lovely a temperament. Guest access Guests, particularly children have access to the larger garden to the rear of the family home where there is a play centre. There is also a go kart, swing ball, a selection of books, toys, games and buckets, spades & fishing nets for the beach which children are welcome to use. Guests are also welcome to harvest salad crops from our poly tunnel, when in season and to help themselves to fresh eggs every day, from our friendly hens, when they are laying. Guests also have access to lock up storage facilities for bicycles, golf clubs, fishing rods, surf boards, roof boxes etc. Other things to note Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, where guests can enjoy a round of golf, relax in the White Horse Spa, dine in the Ocean View Restaurant or enjoy a drink in Trump's Bar, is only a five minute drive away. Sandhills House is the perfect location for anyone attending a wedding at Trump International Hotel and we offer guests complimentary transport to and from the venue. Doonbeg village is 4.5 miles (7.2km) away where there are two excellent restaurants, four pubs and two shops. Further details can be found on our website.
