Located 3.6 miles from Bocas town, with hidden beaches, nature and world-class waves on our doorstep. Elevated cabin design puts you at an eye level with the tree canopy and its wildlife - its feels like staying in a tree-house. Jungle Paunch Cabins is perfect base for an independent and adventurous soles. The space Our cabins are built on 14 feet stilts to take advantage of the views and the breeze. Each cabin (30 m2) has its own kitchen and private deck/porch and is surrounded by lush jungle. Numerous screened windows, skylights and high vaulted ceilings gives an open and airy feel to the space. If you like: nature, surfing, beach-combing, exploring or just relaxing with a book in the hammock, fascinated by the sounds of the jungle, this is the place for you! Unfortunately this place is not for you if you: * Have extreme phobia of insects * Must have air-con (wall fan is provided) or TV * People with restricted mobility that are unable to walk up-stairs (equivalent to first floor) * If you plan to party in town often and late (its hard to get taxi back after midnight) Guest access There is a place to park ATV/car Garden shower to rinse off feet/board Filtered rain water for drinking Laundry service available Clothes drying upon request Outdoor BBQ area Reef boots, mask/snorkel/fins, beach towels etc - just ask! Other things to note Trash is a great problem for the little island. Please bring a reusable container that we are happy to refill with filtered rain water. Strict NO SMOKING policy (no burning incense, candles) INSIDE the cabin. FIRE HAZARD (100% wooden cabins!), anyone breaking that rule non-negotiable damage/cleaning fee of $250 will be charged.
