Lodge on the Lake

A quiet 17 acre, ONE room cabin set on a private small lake, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Equipped with a full kitchen, a grill, 4 OUT DOOR showers, no showers in cabin. Sleeps 4, 1 QUEEN SIZE BED AND 1 PULL OUT HIDE-ABED. There is a $25/PP per day for extra guests , with prior approval by host. Pet friendly. Cameras are on site. 1 at the parking lot, 1 on the side deck, back deck, covered porch, up stairs open covered card/chest room, 2 on the main dock & water, 1 outside stone patio The space This unique cabin was built around 1932. Completely modified and updated in 2007. Please note there are fireplaces, but ONLY THE FIRE PIT OUTSIDE can accommodate a real fire. 2021 has brought in a new GAS fireplace into the Cabin for our guests to enjoy. A 40 pound tank propane is provided at time of check in. If an additional tank is requested, there is a $75 fee. NO FIRES are allowed in the downstairs stone patio. There are bridges, deer, turkey, eagles, herons, Canadian geese nesting (in the spring), river otters, large mouth bass just to mention a few. Keep in mind this is a cabin the the woods and yes there are spiders, bugs and wild life all around. We try our best to control them with a regular pest control service Guest access The whole property is your to roam free. The property owner Michelle Potter just lives up the street should you have any questions. Guest are welcome to swim and use all water crafts equipment on the property. Please sign the "waiver and release of liability" form for each person swimming, or using the watercraft. They are provided at check-in. There is NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY. Thank you. There are 8 cameras on the property. One of the parking lot, one on the side deck, back deck, covered porch, up stairs open covered card/chest room, and 2 on the mail dock and water. There are NO noise monitors on the property. Theres also a remote control electric fence installed in 2024 for added security. A 40 pound tank propane is provided at time of check in for the gas fireplace. Please remove your own trash over 2 bags. There's a $25 charge per bag left. 2 bags allowed to be left.
