Very small but lovely single room

Very small but lovely room with a view of the garden in our end-of-terrace family home. We Airbnb 3 rooms so there may be other guests staying in the house. Town centre/ train station 10 mins walk away- there are some hills so it might take you a bit longer if you're not used to that. Ample on street parking - we'll give you daily visitor permits. The space This garden-side room has a single bed, small bureau and shared downstairs bathroom. The shower is in a high-sided Japanese ufuru-style bath tub. If you have a lot of luggage, you might prefer to book our larger single room which is more spacious. There's also space in our living room for luggage. Guest access You have access to your room, the shared downstairs bathroom, the garden and seating under the willow . The kitchen is shared with us as well as other guests. Access to the bathroom is via our living room and is off the kitchen. During your stay When we're at home, we'll be around if you have any questions. If we're away, you'll have our phone numbers so that you can contact us. Our neighbour, Suzanne, takes care of changeovers when we're away. You'll have her number too in case of emergencies, especially when we're in a different time zone. Other things to note We recently replaced our gas combi boiler with an air source heat pump for heating and hot water to eliminate our fossil fuel use. The central heating keeps the house at an ambient temperature 24/7. Our hot water cylinder holds 239 litres of hot water which is enough for about 4 x 5 minute showers. It’s heated up ready for showers both after 7am and after 7pm, with hot water left over for dishes etc … during the day. For this system to work for everyone, we ask you to be aware of your hot water usage, bearing in mind who else needs to shower etc… There will never be more than 4 guests in the house and often less so shouldn't be a problem. If you do find there’s not enough hot water, do let us know so that we can sort it out. If you drive here, we'll give you visitor parking permits. Parking is usually available on the street outside the house or nearby. The shared bathroom has a shower and toilet so you may need to wait to use the loo or shower. Again, if you think this will be tricky for you, our en suite room might be a better fit. We don't have a dog and we don't allow pets in our home. We are, however, required by law to accept booking made by guests with service dogs. If you have an allergy to dogs, please do check with us whether an assistance dog has recently stayed with us.
