Adorable private studio (330 sq. ft., built 2017) in Palo Alto backyard w/ separate gate entrance. Light and airy, recessed lights, wood floors, large windows, birds, squirrels. Queen bed (Sealy firm mattress), large closet, desk, table, yoga mat, 3-lb weights, bicycle, TV w/ Chromecast, kitchenette, fridge, Keurig coffee, toaster oven, microwave, bathroom, shower. The space Luggage drop-off okay. Early arrival or late departure is fine. Neighborhood is safe, quiet, friendly, and family-oriented. Extra fold-out cot is available. You have your own gate and door. Ideal for interns, startup founders, visiting scholars. CEO of a global company stayed for ten months. Guests include visiting post-docs at Stanford, Fulbright scholars, and professors. The host is CMO of a funded Silicon Valley startup and professor at a business school. Guest access You have your own private gate. The sliding glass door opens to the redwood deck. Small breakfast table and chairs face an enclosed backyard. During your stay You can either talk with us or never see us while you're here. We're always available by cell phone or text message. We supply soap, shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. We have a washer and dryer. On weekends you can either wash your own clothes or give it to us and we wash your clothes. Other things to note Near Stanford, Goog, FaceBK, Tesla, Wilson-Sonsini, etc. Easy bike ride to Stanford (2.5mi), Goog (3.7mi), Goog Labs (2mi). Groceries: Walk to a nearby grocery store (0.3 miles / 0.5 km / 8 minutes). Everything you'll need. Open 8 am to 10 pm every day. The Train: A commuter train goes by. It runs during commuter hours. The studio's walls, roof, and windows are extra-insulated to reduce noise. After a day or two, you don't notice it anymore.
