The “Casale del Gallo” is an old Umbrian farmhouse immersed in five hectares of oak and chestnut woodland. It overlooks the ancient village of Massa Martana, just a few kilometres from Todi, in the heart of Umbria. Perfect house for families and group of friends that want escape the caotic cities! The space The Casale has been completely rebuilt from its original stone and is ideal for those who wish to escape the chaos of city life, relax in the tranquillity of the Umbrian hills and enjoy artistic, cultural, gastronomic and scenic itineraries. The Casale is a convenient starting point for short trips to important historical cities like Todi, Spoleto, Assisi, Perugia, Montefalco and Bevagna. In close proximity, it is possible to visit archaeological sites ranging from pre-Roman to medieval settlements. For nature lovers there are 30km (20miles) of sign-posted footpaths through the Martana Hills and wild countryside, suitable for an hour’s ramble or whole day excursions. The Casale covers an area of 290m² (3100ft²) over two floors with three separate entrances.
