Forum, Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni Basilica and a metro ride away from the Vatican and Piazza di Spagna Esquilio is very multicultural. There are many supermarkets and a fresh food market in the area as well as a variety of restaurants and cafès. ( both Italian and ethnic). But it is quiet and restful in the evenings. Monti (a very trendyand youthful area buzzing with nightlife ) is a 5-minute walk The location is ideal because you have a lot of public transport and all connections to airport are a 5- minute walk.
