Located in the heart of town, this converted 1860s brick factory space is within the walking distance to everything Beacon has to offer: restaurants & shops, hiking trails, Farmer's Market, breweries, Fishkill Creek waterfall & Roundhouse restaurant/event space, town park. Dia Beacon, Storm King, and many Hudson Valley attractions are close by as well! The space The space is flooded with natural light from over 20 large windows and a large glass garage door that opens right into the massive great room. The ceilings are upwards of 30 feet with gorgeous original wood beams. There’s a brand new high efficiency wood burning stove in the great room adding to the atmosphere. The custom kitchen is modern with SubZero fridge, Wolf stove, Miele oven , and a huge kitchen island. The 2 renovated bathrooms are beautifully designed with fixtures by Porcelanosa. At night, the space is designed with custom lighting throughout including floor uplighting on the brick walls and beautiful hand blown pendants throughout. There's a newly installed Ipe deck with a Danish outdoor kitchen and a wine & beer fridge. Plenty of seating on the deck and in the Zen landscaped gravel garden. Guest access Parking directly in front of the Unit but all Beacon has to offer is walking distance including a playground across the road. You can take the train up from the city and either walk or take the Beacon Free Loop from the train station which is 1.5 miles from the house. Other things to note This private and gated enclave is quiet, yet within feet of all the action that Beacon has to offer. Please note this space in a quiet family residential neighborhood and not a “party house”. This is also our primary residence and therefore does have personal items throughout.
