Cottage by the sea with a large terrace and sauna

Relax in nature in this simple cottage. Electricity and electric heaters, but in the sauna, you have to carry water (well water, not potable) and next to the sauna, there is an outhouse. Drinking water in canisters. On the terrace you can enjoy the sea view or watch the animals. Plenty of room for games, football, or beach volleyball. You can row, paddleboard, fish or enjoy walks by the sea in the nearby outdoor area. Good trails suitable for mountain biking. For an additional fee, you can use the hot tub. The space The cottage has a small kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a dining area with a 180 cm long bed (suitable for a sleeper under 165 cm). The bedroom has blackout curtains, but the dining area only has blinds. Large terrace with gas grill, fireplace and separate sauna building. Traditional bucket washing in the sauna. A shower behind the sauna. The dock is shared with our family, but we rarely use it for boating or kayaking. Guest access The cottage has a large yard area that is privately reserved for your use. The garden is visited by deer, rabbits, squirrels, foxes, swans and other birds. Other things to note The cabin can accommodate 3 adults, if one person can sleep in a short, 180 cm bed. Good shallow sandy beach, also suitable for children. We are an equality-friendly and LGBTQ-friendly place to stay. You are free to use the rowboat, paddleboard and campfire when the forest fire warning is not in effect (check the warnings on the Finnish Meteorological Institute's website on a daily basis). Firewood and gas for the gas grill are included in the price. Special care should be taken with children by the water, in the sauna and in the hot tub. Always wear life jackets on the water, which can be found in the wooden box outside the cabin. All activities are at your own risk. It is good for children to have a floating life-saving device in the hot tub as well. Beware of the hot stove: the outside heats up when the wood is burned. The hot tub can be booked for an additional fee of 60 euros/visit. Allow 2-4 hours to heat the tub with wood before going into the tub (temperature about 37-38 degrees). The nearest restaurant is 8 km away and the nearest store is 10 km away, so it is advisable to prepare with the necessary equipment in advance. No shoes indoors, no smoking, no parties, no pets. Please do not feed birds or other animals. We use fragrance-free detergents. Please note that the cottage is located in the middle of nature and, for example, the sea level and water quality vary. This may cause the area to look very different than in the pictures.
