The Cwtch Cwt (Cuddle Hut) - Mountain-top Retreat

Stay in our serene shepherd’s hut, fully equipped with a cosy wood burning stove and WiFi to ensure you write home about our uninterrupted views across the Brecon Beacons to Pen-y-Fan. If you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to the best sunset you have ever seen. Please be aware that we are only accessible via a single tarmac track that winds up the mountainside. As such, access can be limited in the winter months. The space The Cwtch Cwt has been designed by us to make the perfect little space to chill out in . The double bed folds up into the wall to create a table and benches to maximise the space . The kitchenette has a combination microwave and a double electric hob but no oven . It has an under counter fridge which has a small freezer. There is a shower room at the end . The wood burning stove creates a really cosy atmosphere and we supply wood etc but if you prefer not to use it you have an electric heater. You are separate to our home so is very private but we are only next door should you need anything. There is secure off road parking directly outside the hut . Guest access You have your own private access and entrance and can park directly outside the hut . There is access to my horses field so there could occasionally be a car drive past the hut into the field . Please don’t feed the horses but you are welcome to say hello . In winter months there is also use of a private sauna room in a stone building in my garden available for a small additional fee. Just let me know if you’re interested 😊 Other things to note We are not on mains water here. All water is harvested and goes through a uv filtration system therefore the water is safe to drink and I find it much nicer than mains water as it’s pure water. Please can you be mindful of water usage especially in dry summer months 😊
