I have a clean, spacious and elegantly furnished colonial home on a street known to Civil War buffs and within walking distance to Old Town Fredericksburg, Mary Washington Hospital and the University of Mary Washington. Parking is plentiful, WiFi is available throughout our 2900 square foot home, and the kitchen and baths are shared. While we don't own a pet we do occasionally pet sit for a friend. Our home is located in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of classic homes directly across the street from the University of Mary Washington. Access to I-95 is two miles away and the train station, offering the southernmost stop on the Virginia Railway Express, is 1.5 miles. Coffee shops, restaurants and unique shops and art galleries are one mile from the house. Fredericksburg is home to many historic battlefields, museums, art galleries, restaurants, shopping and more. The shopping district will lure you with free two hour parking. If you are without a car, I am happy to transport you to public transportation or the grocery store if our schedules align. I’m a long time resident of Fredericksburg and will gladly share what I know about this beautiful region.
