This rustic, cozy home will appeal to anyone seeking the beauty and tranquility of Georgia's coastal low country, while catering specifically to the desires of the sportsman. The space The panoramic view from the master bedroom allows guests to escape into the vastness of spartina saltmarsh, tidal creeks, and Georgia's Golden Isles. Cast a line or drop a crab trap (trap available for use, included in rate) or tie your boat up to your personal deep water dock! Take quick boat rides to the St. Catherine's Island beach (6 mi), open ocean/gulf stream access (7 mi), or sunset dolphin cruises here in Sunbury Creek. Redfish, trout, and flounder drops are all around! Explore the winding tidal creeks with your kayak or paddleboard, or grab your book and lounger and soak up the sun on the dock. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from a spacious back porch before heading into Savannah or the Sunbury Crab Company for dinner, drinks, and entertainment. The home boasts two bedrooms with connecting full baths, a third bedroom/study, a vaulted-ceiling living room with flat screen (no cable) TV and Bluetooth speaker, and a large back porch with a wonderful view. Free WiFi access means you can stream your favorite shows or movies through your device or get work done while away from home. With a fully-equipped kitchen, we recommend stockpiling all your crabs, fish, and shrimp for a fresh low country boil at the end of your trip, a local tradition! The dock: You will have sole access for the duration of your visit. The stationary upper portion (20'x20') is ideal for laying out in the sun or for fishing, crabbing, and cast netting. The floating dock (20'x10') features a covered boat slip with a low tide depth of 4'. You can launch your boat at the Sunbury public boat ramp or hoist from your trailer at Halfmoon Marina, both just a few miles from the dock.
