The bright 40 sqm attic apartment is centrally located, just 200 m from the town hall. It is designed as an open spacious living area with a fully equipped fitted kitchen, a dining table, sofa and large sleeping area (bed 1.80 x 2 m) separated by wooden beams. The shower room with toilet is accessible directly from the apartment. The elevator takes you directly to the apartment. Suitable for 1–3 people. Sofa bed. Fast Wi-Fi. The space When it comes to furnishings, we attach great importance to quality and sustainability: Guests sleep on high-quality organic certified mattresses, with organic down duvets in freshly washed white linen without perfume. The concept of the artist's apartment arose from the desire to offer the artists working in the Häselburg Cultural Center a beautiful retreat. The aim was to combine modernity with tradition, architecture with design and art – an approach that was awarded by IBA Thuringia, among others. Like the house itself, the artists' rooms and apartments are also a creative experimental space. Carefully restored historical building fabric meets young design and clear forms; minimalism combines with tradition. Site-specific installations in the stairwell complement the architecture. This creates a living work of art – an ideal place for living, art and culture. We deliberately refrain from unnecessary frills and focus on the essentials. Out of conviction, we do not have a TV; instead, free WiFi is available throughout the house. No smoking inside the apartment, but you are welcome to smoke outside on the small terrace on the floor. The washing machine and dryer are also on the same floor, which you are welcome to use. Guest access You can take the elevator to the top floor without barriers. Check-in is contactless.
