(We use the back room upstairs for storage.) ∙ Our screened-in back porch is a good place to relax on a warm evening and plan your next day's activities. The physical arrangement of our venue allows you to come and go at will without having to interact with us. ∙ Don't hesitate to text us or call us if you have questions or concerns when we are not at home. The St. Matthews area is known in Louisville as an upscale neighborhood of well-maintained older homes, quiet residential streets, and mature trees. But what we like best is our proximity to the old retail district at "the Point." The dense mixture of cafes, pubs, boutique shops, and neighborhood businesses create a microcosm of Louisville within less than a square mile. It's all scaled for maximum walkability. Spend some time there to get "the feel" of Louisville and to appreciate the city's warm and friendly people. When you stay with us you have quick and easy access to I-264, I-64, and I-71 , so you can travel quickly to Downtown Louisville, to Churchill Downs, to UofL, to NuLu, or to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. Our neighborhood is well-served by bus lines, and we've made good use of Uber and Lyft drivers in our own travels around Louisville. ∙ The back door has an electronic deadbolt lock. You will not have to keep track of a physical door key. (We'll give you the code when you arrive.) ∙ We live downstairs below your space, which means we will be conveniently on hand to answer your questions. ∙ Excellent quarters for a multi-day stay.
