It was a Studio

This open concept main floor studio is an ideal place to spend a few nights while enjoying the comforts of a small village. Grocery store and parks are only a block away while St.Lawrence River and Charleston Lake only a few minutes in the car. This unit will comfortably host 2 people while allowing enough space to move throughout with an abundance of natural light and fresh air. *there is a unit above this one *this village has a train that runs through it all day/night The space This loft is completely open with no separation between sleeping and living areas. The place has beautiful tall ceilings, 3 large windows and an exposed brick wall. There is one bedroom in the front corner that is locked to guests. The door at the back enters the other unit, so it is off limits to guests. We boast a fully functional kitchen, bathroom, and dining table. We have a very comfortable living room area with a Murphy bed for night (double). The upstairs unit has 3 little dogs and humans that reside in it. Due to the age of this building (although sound proofing efforts have been made), you may hear walking from above. This is very muted and is completely quiet by 10pm. Between this and the train, it is advised to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. :) Guest access The main floor unit minus the locked bedroom. Other things to note There is an upstairs unit, so we ask for no excessive noise past 9pm. It is an old building with original floors - so you will hear people walking above. If you’re a light sleeper, ear plugs are encouraged. * this unit has 1 double bed and 1 small couch. *during the winter, parking is at the end of the block overnight 🅿️
