Historic 1850's stone cottage located in the heart of Strathalbyn, within close walking distance to cafes, pubs, shops and the meandering paths throughout the beautiful central riverside park. Strathalbyn is a beautiful historic town to explore and right on the doorstep to the sensational wineries in Langhorne Creek, located only 10 minutes drive away. The space There is a King bed in the main bedroom and Queen bed in the second bedroom, both with electric blankets. Slow combustion heater in the lounge room with firewood supplied in winter. Bookshelf with books, puzzles and games to use. There is a split system for convenient heating and cooling. Wi-Fi and smart TV. Basic kitchen with continental breakfast provisions provided. Please note that due to the age of the cottage (built in 1850's) the doorways are low and some rooms are dark, the kitchen and bathroom are old (1960's) with a renovation due in 2024. Washing machine in laundry. Enclosed back yard with cottage garden. Guest access Self check-in. Off street parking available.
