The Rustling Oak Guesthouse is situated in a beautiful Oak forest 41 minutes from Winnipeg. It is favored by nature enthusiasts, golfers, cross-country skiers, and those just needing a quiet break. A 16 minute drive from Hwy. #1 for traveller's and a quick 8 minute drive East of the City of Steinbach. The space When you arrive, you will be greeted at the door by your hosts, John and Maryann Lepp. You will enter your guest suite through a shared entry, a few steps through a shared hallway, and then down a flight of 13 stairs. The suite door locks from the inside, making it completely private. It is a full suite, including a private bedroom with a lockable door, a fully-stocked kitchen, a living/dining area, and a 3-piece bathroom. Guests have their own in-suite stackable washer/dryer for their use. The large window has a view of the gardens and the guest patio, with table and chairs, and a BBQ during the summer months. Guest access Guests have the freedom to use the yard, play structure, toys, swing, and hammock. There are walking trails around the neighborhood, and some bikes are available. Guests are welcome to sit around a shared firepit in the backyard. Other things to note We want our guests to know that we are doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc. before you check in. We have a newly installed doorbell with a camera for security. The camera only photographs the immediate front entry door area. No other cameras are on the premises. Breakfasts are not provided. The living room has a queen-sized futon that opens for 2 extra people for a total accommodation of 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.
