You can walk out the back door into the Kit Carson National Forest, which has towering evergreen pines year round. High in the Taos Canyon at 7500 ft elevation there are mountain views in literally every direction! This unique and luxurious pueblo style house has four bedrooms, but can comfortably sleep 8 to 10 people. With attractive hardwood floors and tile, as well as the very comfortable amenities including full kitchen, Jacuzzi bath and laundry, you can relax inside or on your own private patio or deck. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Occupancy All rates are for double occupancy. We are a pet friendly property. We charge $50 per pet. We ask that you don't leave your pet unattended in the room. Please notify us when making your reservation, if your pet will be joining you. Pets must be on a leash while on the main grounds of Shady Brook. Pet owners must pick up after their pets. For the enjoyment of future guests, pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Please bring your own pet beds and/or blankets that your pets may sleep on during your stay, or ask us for a loaner blanket if you need one. Any damage to rooms caused by pets will be an additional fee to the room charge. Undeclared pets will result in a deep cleaning fee of $250. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area in the back common area. We respectfully request that guests do not smoke on their decks or patios. There is a $250 deep cleaning fee if anyone does smoke in the rooms, on the decks or on the porches. Housekeeping Housekeeping is provided upon departure. Departure instructions are provided in your welcome packet. If instructions are not followed, additional fees may apply. Personal Items We charge $20, plus shipping, to return any items left in the room. If you do not want your item we will donate it to the local family-need center. Shady Brook is not responsible for lost items.
