Choose from six cozy cabin/tiny homes, park your RV at one of our eight spots, or bring your horse along to our Horse Motel. This is more than just a stay—it's an adventure by Vacation Your Way! The space Billy the Kid's sweetheart may have met up at Tiny Town to hide out in the loft of Paulita's hideaway tiny home: Sleeping: Double loft with a queen on each side! Convertible futon (into a double bed on the fist floor) Lovely kitchenette with Microwave and K cup coffee maker Cool breakfast table with stools. Lovely shower in the bathroom. More than clean—we cleanse and sanitize (laundry) the beautiful space so you can escape the city and truly enjoy the fresh open air of the ranch! Tiny Town by Vacation Your Way- we have developed Tiny Home AirBNBs on the GSD RANCH our 12 acre property. (We also have a lake experience on Lake Eastland!) There is always some small project construction going on because it's a working ranch. Please contact me if you are bringing another family with you that wants to rent a 2nd cabin or Tiny Home so I can offer you both your own private space for a special discount (be nearby your family or friend—but have your own space – and bathroom!) Situated just 3 miles out of Hico - a great little vacation spot- with the new downtown shopping, good foods and lovely dance/concert venue=HiCo Hall! Come and enjoy a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. What an experience. Walk around and see the pond, relax! Break-a-way to the country life and enjoy our 20 acres!! And now we opened Rockin' RV Park and Horse Motel--so bring your RV friends with great hook-ups and amenities. Search for Rockin' K RV park to book. *Horse Motel is an amenity for Tiny Town too- if you bring a horse- let Kara know to book the horse a room! Ask about pets (in some cases we are able to accommodate this request) There is no WiFi at this time. If you bring a hotspot it may work. This area is rural and WiFi is spotty. Please review the map of Tiny Town in the pictures. The Tiny Home 3 parking is at sheep pen. Then you have a short walk (follow the gravel pathway-about 100 ft from parking area) to the Tiny Home. You may want to bring flashlight if you arrive in the evening. (Umbrella will help when it’s raining) Expect typical plants and insects as this is a ranch. It may be a muddy walk due to weather. Must be 25 and older to rent. Host is not responsible for anything left behind after check-out time. No Smoking. No Parties. No Pets. ★Our Checkout Checklist includes the following items: -Remove all personal items from the property, including any food, and put the trash in trash bins provided (or in garage as noted) (Put trash bins out on the day indicated in the guidebook) -please clean all dishes, pots/pans, kitchen items -Please clean up any trash from backyard area -All used linens (sheets and towels) please put in laundry area Thank you for taking care of our home. Situated on Hwy 281, Just about 3 miles (South) from downtown Hico and 20 miles from Hamilton. This is more than just a stay—it's an adventure by Vacation Your Way! Immerse yourself in farm life by visiting our friendly animals, including cows, sheep, mini-donkeys, and mini-goats. Gather around the community fire pit for stargazing like you've never seen before, and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the countryside or relax in a hammock and play a round of horse shoes! Vacation Your Way created Tiny Town to provide quick get-a-ways (estimated 1.5 hour drive) from DFW and other big cities around Texas so y’all can enjoy the ranch life at our unique vacation rentals. If you are traveling with extended family or friends, please contact your host so that we can book your groups nearby each other. It's the perfect way to travel with others, you each have your own private space but your guests are nearby. Tiny homes and cabins are spread apart on our many acres. Glen Rose's DinoWorld and Fossil Rim are about a 30 min drive! ( Ask us about our second Tiny Town that is a lake experience in Eastland, TX–Lake Eastland!) Next door is our Rockin' RV Park and Horse Motel--so bring your RV friends to enjoy our great hook-ups and RV amenities. Search for Rockin' K RV park to book. The Horse Motel is an amenity for Tiny Town too- if you bring a horse- let your host know to book the horse stall area, too! Explore the historic town of Hico, just minutes away, where you can browse cool shops, enjoy a steak at the Chop House, or delve into history at the Billy the Kid Museum (we highly recommend it!). The new HiCO hall is the premiere wedding and concert venue in the area. For more family fun, nearby attractions like Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and Dinosaur World are perfect for a day trip. When they were on the run...they may have hid in the loft lifting the attic stairs to escape the posse coming after them! We recommend you visit the fantastic Billy the Kid Museum in downtown Hico!
