Twin Room in Stunning West Cork

Stay in our basic but comfortable twin room with shared bathroom in Myross Wood House. Set in 30 acres of woodland and garden overlooking Glandore Harbour in West Cork, this historic former retreat is a rural, unique and magical place for nature and relaxation. The location is convenient for Leap, Union Hall, and Glandore and only a short drive from Skibbereen and Rosscarbery for restaurants, shops and leisure amenities. A great base for exploring this wonderful area on land or by water. The space Myross Wood House is a former religious retreat set in 30 acres of woodland and parkland. We offer basic, clean and comfortable accommodation in 13 of our 50 rooms for short stay accommodation and we have plenty of outdoor space for parking, as well as a guest kitchen for making a hot drink or simple meal. Since August 2021, the building has been developed as CECAS, a centre for climate action and sustainability, run by Green Skibbereen CLG. Green Skibbereen is a not for profit company, which is mainly run by volunteers. Every penny we make from Airbnb goes into our redevelopment plan for Myross Wood House. Guest access We have plenty of dedicated parking spaces. You can leave the car and walk into Leap or Union Hall for pubs and restaurants in about 20 minutes. Nearest beach at Union Hall. During your stay You will be checked into your room by a volunteer or staff member who will introduce you to the building and show you the guest kitchen.
