The space As you enter the cottage, you’ll find a large living area. The lounge/library flows into the dining area and then on to the kitchen. There’s a wood burner and French doors to the garden in the lounge/library so you can enjoy a story and sunshine or get cosy in the evenings. If you’d like to bring other guests, you can pull down a double bed so they can stay over – please mention this when booking. The downstairs is finished with a wood panel floor, lending a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the space. Head to the first floor to find your bedroom, a charmingly decorated double with a vaulted ceiling and an en-suite bathroom. You’ll see a gravel garden, enclosed by a fence and featuring a dining area and a shaded seating spot. Finally, visit the shepherd’s hut, a lovely space with a double bed, chairs and a pull-down table. This spot is a walkers’ paradise, and you’ll find plenty of great routes from the front door. If you fancy being beside the sea, have a day out in Aldeburgh (12.5 miles) where there’s a long beach and a nice town so you can grab a bite to eat. Visit Snape Marshes (9 miles) for wildlife including ponies, kingfishers and otters, or try RSPB Minsmere (8.5 miles) for bird watching and walks.
