Private garden with oldtimer caravan Cathars Mirepoix.

In a small hamlet on a hill overlooking the mountains, we rent out our antique and collectors item Constructam caravan, suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. The caravan is fully equipped with plates, cutlery, pans and other kitchen utensils and has, on the other side of the garden, its own outdoor kitchen, shower and toilet. There is no need to bring duvets, as these are provided. Sheets and towels are not provided, so you must bring (or rent) them yourself. The space In the caravan there is a table with two comfortable sofas, a fixed double bed (180x190cm) and an option to make a smaller bed (120x190cm) by folding the table. Outside, the caravan is surrounded by fig trees, and a large roof offers shade or gives extra shelter on the few but necessary rainy days. You will also find a picnic table and a hammock. For the garden, there are relaxing chairs. Guest access Because we are on a hill, it is important to know that the caravan is only accessible via a stone staircase with very high steps. Unfortunately, this staircase is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Other things to note A brief summary of what to do in "the heart of Cathar country": we are 6 kilometers from the beautiful medieval town of Mirepoix, 40 minutes from the famous Cathar castle Montsegur. There is a beautiful lake, Montbel, 35 minutes away, Toulouse is 1 hour away from us. Andorra can be reached via the beautiful mountain route in an hour and a half. The Mediterranean Sea is also an hour and a half away from us. The beautifully renovated castle town of Carcassonne is 45 minutes away, and there are miles of very well-marked hiking trails through the overwhelming nature in the entire perimeter. Also nearby is an unparalleled Bamboo Garden, a very impressive Butterfly Greenhouse and even a Bison Farm. There's just too much to mention here. In the caravan, many brochures are already waiting for you, and otherwise you can always take a look at the Office de Tourisme in Mirepoix. On the day of arrival, we also offer the possibility for a table d'hôte, because Daniel has a cooking passion, but especially because we know what it is like to finally arrive and THEN you have to find a restaurant or use your last energy to put together a meal.
