Fireside Comfort Cottage

Hike the Majestic Redwoods, the TALLEST trees in the world or enjoy the Sky Walk/Gondola at Trees of Mystery. Kayak rentals or Jet Boat ride are available on the Mighty Klamath River. Our favorite beach is within 10 minute. Close to HWY 101 but kind of off the grid, with only a few neighbors. Winters and sometimes spring and fall can bring high winds, flooding and power outages, please consider before you book, unless you are up for the challenge! Check w/ Cal-trans for road conditions. The space Our rustic cottage has a down home country atmosphere, the kitchen has almost every spice you'll need plus all the pots and pans too! We offer coffee, tea, hot coco, oatmeal, cr. of wheat, bagels, peanut butter and jelly, pancake/waffle mix with butter and syrup. When the blackberries are in season they are great in the pancakes. A king bed in one room, a queen in the other and a twin in the living room along with a sofa couch. Private hot tub in the back yard, game room w/ an air hockey table, Private front patio w/ fire place and grill, and a side dog run area. We also provide a battery operated lantern and candles since winters and sometimes spring and fall can bring high winds, power outages and floods. FYI Just in case you are a very large group, our 3 acre property has 5 airbnbs. The Willow House, the Redwood Cottage, the Pineview and soon to come the Creekside. Jeff and I live in the warehouse, that is also on the property. Guest access We will message you the code to the front door either the day before or the day of your arrival. We will let you know if the house is ready before 3:00 p m on the day of your arrival.. Other things to note If your pet has joined you on this visit: Please cover any furniture that they may want to get comfy on with the old sheets provided, keep any bedroom doors close that will not be used. We do provide poop bags, Please use them. Also, if you use the barbecue/ grill, please clean it after each use. Thank you
